The Compassionate Friends (for bereaved parents) -
meet the 3rd Tuesday of every month at St. Mary's Parish center in
Holliston from 7:30 - 9:30 p.m. and also the last Tuesday of the month
at St. Mary's Parish Center on Winter St in Milford from 1:00 - 2:30
p.m. We are a nonprofit, nonsectarian, organization for bereaved parents.

Depression After Delivery Support
Group - meets
the first and third Thursdays, 9:30 - 11:00 am downstairs
at Trinity Episcopal Church, 17 Congress St., Milford.
The free, self-help, mutual aid group is for women
and families coping with mental health issues associated
with childbearing. No need for a sitter; there are

Educational Support Group for Single Parents -
Facilitated by: Debra Gabowitz, MA/LMHC Certified. Free for parents
of children ages birth to teen years. Wednesdays, 4:00 - 5:00 pm, Wayside

Family Network Project is now called, Milford Family & Community Network - Milford Family & Community Network is a community based collaborative program dedicated
to families of young children (birth to 48 months) in the Greater Milford

Friends of The Milford
Upper Charles Trail - The trail offers the opportunity
to safely walk or bike to various places within the community and
to neighboring towns via a corridor that is not shared with motorized
vehicles. The friends group is always looking for help in trail
maintenance, program development, and fund raising. Meetings are
held the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Senior

The
Greater Milford Community Chorus
- Do you love to sing? Were you in the
high school chorus or church choir and always thought
of singing in a chorus again? Come join us and share
your love of singing with the Greater Milford Community
Chorus! Our year consists of two seasons. Fall season
rehearsals begin on the Wednesday after Labor Day
and culminate with our concert the first weekend in
December. Our spring season rehearsals begin on the
Wednesday following New Year's Day with our concert
weekend taking place the first part of May. Wednesday
rehearsals run from 7:15-9:30 pm and are held upstairs
at Memorial Hall, 30 School Street. Registration for
new members will be open for three weeks after the
start of the season. Our membership consists of adults
from many towns in the greater Milford area. For more

The Greenleaf Garden Club of Milford, Inc. - The mission
of the Greenleaf Garden Club is to promote the knowledge and love of
gardening and civic development in the community of Milford. The club
meets the third Monday of every month at 7:00 p.m., September through

Lawyer of the Day - The first
and third Wednesday of each month, 2:00 - 4:00 pm.
Milford District Court, Rte. 140, main level. The Lawyer
of the Day Program provides, at no charge, a licensed
attorney to answer basic questions about the law, and
assist the public in filling out court forms. Sponsored
by the Milford Bar Association.

Milford Daily Bread Food Pantry -
508-478-4225. The hours for clients are 6:00 to 7:30 pm, Tuesdays and
Thursdays. Donations are accepted on Mondays 6:00

Moms in Touch International meets
each Wednesday morning during the school
year at 8:30 a.m. Moms in Touch is an interdenominational
non-profit organization that prays for the
children, schools and teachers all over this
nation. Each week 2 or more Moms meet together
for 1 hour. Currently we have Moms representing
Milford Catholic, Stacy Middle School, Middle
School East, Mount St. Charles, Blackstone
Valley Tech and Milford High School.

The Milford MOMS Club is an organization
for full-time or part-time stay at home moms. Activities include
playgroups, outings, participation in local service projects and fun-filled
activities for moms and children to enjoy together. All activities
are organized by volunteer moms and attended by moms and children of
all ages. Please join us for our New Member Social, the third Thursday

Mothers of Twins - The West Suburban Chapter
Massachusetts Mothers of Twins Association is a group of over 400 mothers
of multiples from Boston's western suburbs. Founded in 1959, we are
a nonprofit organization that provides educational, social and emotional
support to parents of multiples in Boston's western suburbs. The club
covers a wide geographic area bordered by Acton to the north, Franklin
to the south, Boston to the east, and Northborough to the west. Members
meet on the second Thursday of each month, September through November
and January through May, at 6:30 PM at Wesley United Methodist Church,
80 Beacon Street in Framingham. Meetings include discussion rooms grouped
by age of twins and a guest speaker or social activity. New members,
including expectant mothers of multiples, are always welcome.

Chiropractic will hold a Spinal Health and Wellness Workshop on
the first and third Mondays of every month at 6:00 pm. Dr. Palmer
will be talking about various aspects of wellness, including nutritional,
postural and lifestyle tips. She will also discuss the importance
of maintaining a healthy spine and nervous system, as well as things
that can be done to compliment your chiropractic care. This is
an excellent opportunity to find out more about your spine and
to ask questions on spinal care. The workshops

Play
Group - Sponsored by The First Unitarian Universalist Church of
Milford
Playgroup
is held at The First Unitarian Universalist Church of Milford, 23
Pine St., and is open to all children under age 5 who come with a
parent or a caregiver. Playgroup provides socialization, play, crafts
and stories every Thursday from 9:30 to 11:00. The
Director and facilitator is Dianne Spittler, M.Ed. Children do not
need to be preregistered. This program is open to the public. Play
group is run during school vacations. Older siblings are welcome
as helpers. Monetary donations and/or donations of snacks or supplies

Parents (PHP) meets every Wednesday from 7:00-8:30pm in Milford.
PHP is a network of mutual support groups for parents, and other
adults in a caretaking role, who care deeply about their relationships

the Milford area with a wide range of health and wellness education
classes and programs. The curriculum include wellness programs,
a diabetes education series, yoga, nutrition and exercise, certification
programs, prevention programs, and special events. Support groups
include: birth loss, breast cancer, diabetes, head trauma, Heartline,
mother talk, father talk, multiple sclerosis, and teen pregnancy.
