Fences:
Fences six feet in height or less do not require a building permit.
May be installed right up to the lot lines.(No Setback Required)
Sight obscuring fences shall have a maximum height of three feet
six inches (3'6") within twenty feet (20') of the street frontage.
In all other areas sight obscuring fences may have a maximum height
of six feet (6 '.)
All fences may be installed with either side facing in.
Sheds
and Swimming Pools:
Sheds GREATER than 120 sq. ft. REQUIRE a Building Permit
Sheds 120 sq. ft. (10’ x 12’) or less – NO PERMIT
REQUIRED
Pools greater than 250 sq. ft. or greater than 24” deep require
a Building Permit (includes hot tubs and water gardens). If pool
is located on a corner lot it has to be 30 feet from both streets.
Sheds requiring permits must comply to the following regular zoning
setbacks:
RA = 10’ side, 15’ rear
RB = 15’ side, 25’ rear
RC & RD = 20’ side, 30’ rear
Pools and sheds not requiring permits must comply to one-half of
the zoning setbacks of the above regular distance:
RA = 5’ side, 7 ½’ rear
RB = 7 ½’ side, 12 ½’ rear
RC & RD = 10’ side, 15’ rear

The residential zoning districts are as follows:
RA=General Residential (8,000 Sq. Ft.
minimum Lot size - SINGLE FAMILY dwelling)

Sq. Ft. minimum Lot size - TWO-FAMILY dwelling)
RB=Single Family residential only (15,000 Sq. Ft. minimum Lot size)
RC=Rural Residential C (45,000 Sq. Ft. minimum Lot size)
RD=Rural Residential D (87,000 Sq. Ft. minimum Lot size)
