The Milford Youth Center (MYC), which is located in the Armory at 24 Pearl Street, offers young people many activities everyday after school. The MYC is open Monday through Friday, from 2:30 to 6:00 PM, and is available to youngsters ages 8-18. The MYC is also available to youth groups for meetings and use of the gymnasium. There is NO MEMBERSHIP FEE to become a member. Currently there are over 140 members in the Youth Center.

The Milford Youth Center staff includes Director James Sanchioni, Program Coordinator Sydney DeJesus & Health Coordinator Christine Daddario. The Youth Center would like to acknowledge our volunteers whom provide assistance for a variety of programs. Anyone interested in volunteering or assisting in program development is encouraged to contact the Director.

The Milford Youth Center has become the focal point for the children of Milford. It hosts many different activities and many children visit throughout the year. The children of Milford have come to depend on the Youth Center to provide them with the necessary activities and events that help them develop physically, mentally, socially and emotionally through their childhood years. For the majority of our population this is the only opportunity they have for such development. We are a nonprofit that serve a large percentage of low income and at-risk youth. We are the only free after school program in our area.
